Bank accounts

Byl never holds your revenue — customer payments go directly to your bank account. Accounts belong to your business, not to a single project. Each project picks which of the business’s accounts it receives revenue in.

Manage your accounts in the dashboard under Business → Bank accounts (Бизнес → Банкны данс) (team owner only).

Adding an account

  1. On the Bank accounts page, click Add account (Данс нэмэх).
  2. Enter the following:
    • Bank — choose from the list.
    • Account number — a 9–12 digit number.
    • Account name — the holder’s name as registered with the bank.
  3. Save to register the account.

Only accounts owned by the business can be registered: the account name has to match the business’s verified name, shown as “Registered name (Бүртгэлтэй нэр)” on Business → Overview (Бизнес → Ерөнхий). If it doesn’t, the account is not registered and the error says what to fix. An unverified business can’t add accounts.

  • Individual — your full surname and given name (e.g. “Ganbaatar Bat”). The given name alone does not match. Word order and Cyrillic or Latin spelling don’t matter.
  • Organization — the registered name, with or without the legal form (LLC, ХХК, …). A trade name or a director’s personal account does not match.

The same account can’t be added twice.

Project account

Section titled “Project account”

Each project sets its own account for QPay and bank transfer revenue. On the project’s Bank accounts page, pick one of the business’s active accounts. Changing one project’s account never affects another project.

A new project is created without an account and can run in Test mode. A configured account is one of the three requirements for going Live.

The bank transfer payment method can show customers a different active account of the business instead.

Deactivating and deleting accounts

  • Registered accounts can’t be edited. If you need a different account, add it and pick it on the project’s Bank accounts page.
  • Deactivated accounts are not used for receiving payments.
  • An account that receives revenue (the account set for a project, or the account picked for bank transfer) can’t be deactivated or deleted.
