How to become a verified business
To switch to Live mode on the Byl platform, you need verified business status. Verification also raises your maximum amount per transaction.
Verification is free and you complete it yourself, directly from the dashboard — no emails and no separate bank details required.
Where do I verify?
- Sign in to the dashboard.
- Open the "Business verification" page in your team settings.
- Click the "Verify business" button.
After clicking the button, you will be redirected to the page of our verification partner, TrustAPI. Fill in and submit your business information there.
Tip: Provide complete and accurate information. This helps speed up the verification process.
Verification steps
Verification consists of three steps, and only the first one is performed by you:
- Business verification — verify your business information through the TrustAPI page.
- QPay merchant account — created automatically based on the verified details.
- Primary bank account — configured automatically from the verified information.
Once all three steps complete successfully, your business is fully verified.
Verification status
The "Business verification" page shows the status of each step:
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Pending | The step has not started and is waiting on the previous step. |
| In progress | The step is actively being processed. |
| Completed | The step finished successfully. |
| Failed | The step encountered an error and needs to be retried. |
The overall verification status is shown as one of the following:
- Under review — your request is being reviewed; in most cases you get a result shortly.
- Incomplete — you started verification but didn't finish it, so you need to continue.
- Additional information required — the verification needs more information; go to the page and fill in the missing details.
- Rejected — the request was rejected; review your information and resubmit using the "Re-verify" button.
- Verified — your business is fully verified.
Note: If you have completed verification but the status hasn't updated, click the "Refresh status" button on the page.
